State road 7

The Finnish state road 7 ( Finnish. Valtatie 7 , Swedish. Riksväg 7 ) leads from Erottaja (Swedish: Skillnaden) in the capital Helsinki in an easterly direction approximately parallel to the north bank of the Gulf of Finland to the border of the Russian Federation , which it near Virolahti crossed. The road is 189 kilometers long and forms part of the European route 18 , which continues as the A181 (Russia) (until 2010 part of the M10 (Russia) ) to Saint Petersburg . The road from Helsinki to Hamina is built like a motorway.
