The Finnish state road 13 ( Finnish. Valtatie 13 , Swedish. Riksväg 13 ) leads from the border crossing Nuijamaa to Kokkola . Its length is 499 kilometers.

State road 13 begins in Nuijamaa near Lappeenranta , where there is a border crossing to Russia , and heads northwest across Mikkeli and Jyväskylä to the port city of Kokkola on the west coast of Finland. The road is mostly two-lane.

The state road 13 performs the following municipalities: Kokkola - Kronoby - Kaustinen - Veteli - Perho - Kyyjärvi - Karstula - Saarijärvi - Äänekoski - Jyväskylä - Laukaa - Toivakka - Kangasniemi - Mikkeli - Ristiina - Suomenniemi - Savitaipale - Lemi - Lappeenranta .
