State road 3 in Vantaa

The Finnish state road 3 ( Finnish. Valtatie 3 , Swedish. Riksväg 3 ) leads from the capital Helsinki via Tampere to the city of Vaasa (Swedish: Vasa) on the Gulf of Bothnia . The road, which is 424 kilometers long, has been extended to suit a motorway over a length of 180 kilometers. The street forms part of the European route 12 .

Route

State road 3 leads from Helsinki in a north-northwest direction via Vantaa (Swedish: Vanda), Nurmijärvi , Riihimäki , Hämeenlinna , in the west past Tampere , Ikaalinen , Parkano , Jalasjärvi and Vikby ( Korsholm municipality ) to Vaasa.
