content
The lyrics are about the living conditions of German minorities in a city district largely inhabited by immigrants , which Fler had experienced himself. In the text Fler alludes to the refusal to sing the national anthem by players of the German national soccer team ; the soccer player Mesut Özil is used as an example. In addition, Fler speaks out against racism in the text ("No matter whether black or white. Like you to me, so I to you").
The line “Stress without a reason is in my nature” alludes to the fact that the chorus of the 2013 song Stress ohne Grund by Bushido and Shindy is based on lines of lyrics rapped in 2002 by Fler. Cristiano Ronaldo , Heino and Karl Lagerfeld are mentioned in the song ; Fler also alludes to his 2008 single Deutscha Bad Boy .
Emergence
In an interview with Bild , Fler said: “I always wanted my foreign friends to be recognized. You have to distinguish yourself as a German in order to get the respect, the recognition [...] Because meanwhile it is the case that you have to integrate yourself as a German and not the other way around - especially on the street. "
