The Stade Jean-Dauger is a stadium in the French city ​​of Bayonne in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department . It is located on Avenue André-Grimard on the southern edge of the city center and is the home of the rugby union club Aviron Bayonnais , which is represented in the top 14 league . The stadium can seat 16,934 spectators. It is named after the player Jean Dauger.

The stadium was built in 1937. It initially also included a cycling track , which served as the finish line for several Tour de France stages. The cycling track was later replaced by an athletics facility. During the Rugby Union World Cup in 1991 , the Stade Jean-Dauger was the venue for a preliminary round match between Canada and Fiji .
