List of parishes in City Deanery 6/7 (Archdiocese of Vienna)

The City Deanery 6/7 is a dean's office in the Vicariate Vienna City of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna .

It comprises seven parishes in Vienna's 6th district of Mariahilf and Vienna's 7th district of Neubau with around 27,000 Catholics. Four of the parish churches are in new buildings and three in Mariahilf.

Diocesan development process

On November 29, 2015, development areas were defined for all parishes in the Archdiocese of Vienna. The parishes should work more closely together in the development areas, form parish associations or pastoral care rooms. At the end of the process, new parishes should emerge from the development areas. The city dean's office 6/7 forms a development area with two sub-units:

• Subunit 1: Gumpendorf, Mariahilf and St. Josef ob der Laimgrube
• Subunit 2: Altlerchenfeld, Schottenfeld, Ortisei and Immaculate Conception
