Staudach is a district of the market in Massing and a district in the Lower Bavarian district of Rottal-Inn . Until 1978 it formed an independent municipality.

location

The parish village of Staudach is located about four kilometers northeast of Massing in the Isar-Inn hill country . Oberstaudach and the lower roof a little to the east are considered to be a single district of Staudach.

history

The family of the Staudacher was first documented in 1097. In 1347 Albrecht von Staudach took part in the state parliaments. 1392 noble tournament riders from Staudach are named. In 1483 the aristocratic family of the Staudacher died out. Staudach later belonged to the Obmannschaft Oberdietfurt in the Massing office of the Eggenfelden regional court . In 1752 the (upper) Staudach consisted of six properties, the lower roof of five properties.

The Staudach tax district was created in 1808, the Staudach parish in 1818 and the Staudach parish in 1920. 1950 lived in the 28 districts belonging to the municipality Eggenfelden 600 inhabitants, 183 of them refugees. As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , it was incorporated into the Massing market on May 1, 1978.

Attractions

  • Parish Church of St. Corona . The late Gothic complex was built around 1480 to 1490. It has a retracted choir, a three-nave nave and a west tower. The different sizes of the aisles are striking. The year 1488, painted in a vaulted gusset, is considered to be the oldest pilgrim manuscript.
