H. the area around Staudach has been populated since the middle of the 12th century. Goods in Studache and Ellingen (near Staudach) are also mentioned in documents from Ranshofen Monastery from 1190 . In a list of the estates of Landshut from 1347 to 1392, the knight Albrecht von Staudach is named.

It is not known whether this or his family built the church in Staudach. The veneration of St. Corona reached a peak in Austria and Eastern Bavaria in the 15th century ; this may have been the reason for the construction of this church between 1481 and 1488. A pastor named Furtner from Taufkirchen founded on February 3, 1510 an “eternal and daily mass” for this church. In addition, a benefit was donated to the church in 1696 .
