Steevy Chong Hue (born January 26, 1990 in Tahiti ) is a Tahitian football player. The striker has been back at AS Dragon since 2012 . He is a Tahitian international .

Career

Choong Hue first played in the junior club of AS Samine in Raiatea until 2006 , after which he moved to AS Tefana in Faa'a . In 2008 Lionel Charbonnier brought him into the Tahitian U-20 team. In the following year, Hue played three games in the FIFA U-20 World Cup for Tahiti.

Chong Hue then played again for AS Samine. In the 2010/11 season he ran for the club AS Dragon from Papeete , which plays in the first Tahitian league. The striker then moved to Europe for the Belgian third division club FC Bleid for a year. In 2012 he returned to AS Dragon.

In 2011 he took part in the XIV Pacific Games in 2011 , where Tahiti took third place. Chong Hue scored three goals against Kiribati and two against the Cook Islands .

At the 2012 Oceania Soccer Championship , Chong Hue scored a goal in the first round against Samoa . In the final against New Caledonia , he scored the only and decisive goal that brought Tahiti to victory in the championship for the first time. He then took part in the third round of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers for 2014 .
