Faa'a parish in the Society Islands

Faa'a ( Tahitian : Faʻaʻā) is a French community in the northwest of the island of Tahiti in French Polynesia . It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the north and west , Papeete to the east, Pirae to the southeast, and Punaauia to the south . Tahiti International Airport is located in Faa'a . It was built in 1960 and 1961.
