Huahine (municipality)
Huahine is a French commune in the Leeward Islands area of the Society Islands . It includes the island of the same name, Huahine , has around 6,000 inhabitants and is divided into eight sub-communities :

The main town (Chef-lieu) Fare, Maeva, Faie and Fitii are located on Huahine Nui, the larger, northern part of the island. A small, almost 100 meter long bridge connects it with Huahine Iti with Maroe, Haapu, Parea and Tefarerii.
