Location of the Tubuai community

Tubuai is a municipality in Austral - Archipelago in French Polynesia . It comprises the atoll of the same name , 46 km² in size, and consists of the sub-communities Tubuai as the main town (Chef-lieu), Mataura , Taahueia and Mahu and has more than 2000 inhabitants. The maximum height above sea level is 422 m.
