Rurutu (municipality)
Rurutu is a municipality in French Polynesia in the district of the Austral Islands since 1970 . It includes the island of the same name in the Pacific Ocean .
Residents
In 2007 there were 2088 inhabitants, and in 2012 the population was already 2325, and in 2017 it was 2466. The main industries are fishing , agriculture and tourism .
