Stefan Zisser (born March 26, 1980 in Bolzano ) is an Italian ice hockey player who was last under contract with HC Bozen in the Erste Bank Ice Hockey League .
Career

Stefan Zisser began his career as an ice hockey player at EV Bozen 84 , for whom he made his Serie A2 debut in the 1995/96 season. He then played for three and a half years in the youth of the Finnish first division club TPS Turku before returning to his homeland in Italy during the 1999/2000 season, where he received a contract with HC Bozen , with which he became Italian champion for the first time at the end of the season . He then moved to the HC Milano Vipers , with whom he won the championship, the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana once in the following two seasons . In the summer of 2002 Zisser signed again with HC Bozen, for which he played until 2015 and with whom he was three times champion (2008, 2009 and 2012), three times cup winners (2003, 2007 and 2009), three times supercup winners (2004, 2007 and 2008) , as well as two Messe Cup winners (2007 and 2008). Between 2013 and 2015 HC Bozen took part in the Erste Bank Ice Hockey League and Zisser won the championship of this multinational league with the team in 2014. After the 2014/15 season he no longer received a new contract from HC Bozen, officially due to the EBEL point regulation.
International
For Italy, Zisser first took part in the U18 B European Championships in 1997 and 1998 , when he was the tournament's best goal setter, as well as in the U20 C World Championship in 1999 and the U20 B World Championship in 2000 .
For the first time he was part of the Italian men's selection at the A World Cup in 2000 . After switching to the current division system, he played in the top division at the 2002 and 2010 World Championships and in Division I in 2003 , 2004 , 2005 and 2009. He also represented his colors at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin .
