The Steigkoppe is a 502 meter high mountain in the Spessart in the Bavarian district of Aschaffenburg . It is part of the Eselshöhe mountain range .

geography

The wooded mountain is located directly on the Eselsweg between Jakobsthal and Laufach . It is located about 1.5  km southwest of the Engländer Forsthaus . The summit itself is located in the Sailauf Forest in a community-free area . The Kehrbach rises to the south and the sources of the Sailaufbach are in the valley to the west of the summit . The topographically highest point of the Heigenbrücken parish mark is located on the northeast slopes near Jakobsthal.
