Steinwandleiten is a village and, as Steinwandleithen, a cadastral municipality of the municipality of St. Veit an der Gölsen in the Lilienfeld district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 63 building areas with 35,053 m² and 98 gardens on 239,627 m² in the cadastral community Steinwandleithen , in 1989/1990 there were 62 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 325 and in 2009/2010 there were 144 buildings on 309 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 235 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 183 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 194 hectares and 233 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 178 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 238 hectares. The average soil climate number of Steinwandleithen is 27.4 (as of 2010).
