Stephan Puchner

Stephan Puchner (born May 8, 1971 in Erlangen ) is a German-speaking writer , screenwriter and director . He lives in Munich .

life and work

Puchner grew up in Nuremberg . He is a graduate of the University of Television and Film Munich .

In the 1990s he made internationally successful short films, such as Der Sortierer with Christoph Gareisen , a homage to the expressionist silent film, which premiered in the official competition at the Cannes International Film Festival, and Flut with Rufus Beck and Rudolf Wessely , who came from the theater of the absurd Samuel Becketts remembers.

In 1996 Stephan Puchner worked as Bernd Eichinger's assistant director for " Das Mädchen Rosemarie .
