Storm Constantine
Storm Constantine (born October 12, 1956 in Stafford , England - † January 14, 2021 ) was a British fantasy and science fiction author, who was best known for her Wraeththu cycle.
Life
Since the late 1980s, Constantine has published over 20 novels and edited several non-fiction books. She has often participated in roundtables on alternative sexuality, gender representation in science fiction and fantasy. Many of her novels deal with same-sex relationships and hermaphrodites . Magic , mysticism and legends such as the Grigori are just as strongly represented in her work .
In 2003 she founded Immanion Press, based in Stafford . The publishing house not only publishes its own works, but also other British science fiction and fantasy writers.
She died on January 14, 2021 after a long illness at the age of 64, leaving behind her husband.
