The Straubinger Haus is an Alpine Club hut belonging to the Straubing section of the German Alpine Club at 1,551  meters above sea level. A. Höhe on the Eggenalm northwest of the Fellhorn summit. It is located in the Chiemgau Alps in the municipality of Kössen in the Tyrolean district of Kitzbühel . The refuge, which was renovated in 2001, is a destination not far from the state border with Bavaria on the southernmost mountain of the Chiemgau Alps, the 1764  m high Fellhorn. It is equipped with three guest rooms, sanitary facilities, showers, 80 beds, a children's playground and a sun terrace with a view of the Wilder Kaiser . The Straubinger Haus is a base for larger tours in the southern Chiemgau Alps.

  • From Lofer near Kössen or Blindau via Klausenbergalm and Weißensteinalm, easy, walking time: 4 hours
  • From the Hagerbrücke over Hasenau- and Neualm, easy, walking time: 3 hours
