Suchtpotenzial is a German songwriter duo consisting of the pianist Ariane Müller (born June 4, 1980 in Ulm) and the singer Julia Gámez Martin (born June 29, 1986 in Berlin). Both Müller and Gámez Martin are also active in other music projects. In 2014 the two moderated the music program “On Stage” on Tele 5 .

Band history

Müller and Gámez Martin met in 2011 at the Ulm Theater , where Müller, as musical director and her band, created the musicals The Rocky Horror Show (2011) and most recently Hair (2013). The first songs were written in the spring of 2013, characterized by Gámez Martin's sometimes chansonet, sometimes powerful vocals for Müller's piano or guitar. From summer 2013 both were shown as “addictive potential” with their program 100 percent Alko-Pop or excerpts from it at live concerts or in television shows.
