Suretone Records is an American independent label from Los Angeles .
history
Suretone Records was founded in 2006 by Jordan Schur . Schur was previously CEO of Geffen Records for six years and previously founder of Flip Records , which discovered Limp Bizkit and Staind . Suretone Records announced on March 13, 2006 a joint venture with the Universal Music Group and Interscope Records . As Imprint appeared on the label, among other albums by The Cure , Angels and Airwaves , Weezer and New Found Glory .
Today the label belongs to Suretone Entertainment together with Suretone Management, Mimran Schur Pictures and Suretone Pictures, which bundle all activities of Schur.
