Susan Link (born November 19, 1976 in Pößneck as Susan Schwarzbach ) is a German television presenter and journalist .

life and career

After the reunification, Susan Link moved with her family from Thuringia to Wuppertal , where she passed the Abitur . She studied German at the University of Wuppertal .

In 1998 Link started as a volunteer and later a presenter at Radio Wuppertal . She then worked from 2002 to 2011 as a presenter and editor at Radio NRW . In 2009 she was awarded the LfM Radio Prize in the category information / education / advice for the series Generation Germany 6 Leben eine Republik.

Link has been part of the ARD morning magazine team since 2011 . At first she was an editor there; since August 2012 she has been moderating the program alongside Sven Lorig , alternating with Anna Planken (until December 29, 2014 Anne Gesthuysen ).

From January 2017 Link hosted the talk show Riverboat on MDR together with Kim Fisher . The duo took turns on the weekly program with the team of moderators Stephanie Stumph and Jörg Pilawa . In 2019 both teams were relieved and replaced by the double moderation of Jörg Kachelmann and Kim Fisher.

Since July 2017 she has been moderating the Kölner Sommer Treff in WDR together with Micky Beisenherz as well as the docutainment format The most beautiful summer of my childhood in MDR .

In January and February 2020 moderated link representatively for frank plasberg , the ARD - Talkshow hard but fair .
