Stephanie Stumph (born July 7, 1984 in Dresden ) is a German actress , television presenter and composer .

Life

Stephanie Stumph was born in Dresden as the daughter of the actor and cabaret artist Wolfgang Stumph ; she has another brother. As a child, Stephanie Stumph sang in a choir and took part in ballet, followed by dance courses.

Stumph gained his first stage experience in the 2000/2001 season. In the comedy Dresden she played the role of Carmencita in the comedy Das Haus in Montevideo by Curt Goetz . After graduating from high school in Dresden-Plauen in 2003 , she studied acting at the University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . At the Staatsschauspiel Dresden she completed her further training as a certified actress as part of her studies. In 2006, she successfully passed her practical diploma examination in the Small House in Dresden.

From 1995 to 2014 Stephanie Stumph appeared in 50 episodes of the ZDF crime series Stubbe - From Case to Case as the meanwhile adult film daughter Christiane at the side of her father Wolfgang Stumph. The series received the Bavarian TV Prize in 2004 , the episode Death of the Model was the 2004 premiere crime film of the year. In addition, Stephanie Stumph also worked in other television productions. In 2006 she starred in the two-part Rosamunde Pilcher film Die Muschelsucher alongside Maximilian Schell , Vanessa Redgrave and Sebastian Koch .

Stephanie Stumph was in a relationship with the keyboardist of the rock band Stanfour , Alexander Rethwisch, from 2010 to 2015 . The couple lived together in Hamburg and Dresden.

She has been with Hard to believe since 2014 ! an integral part of the advice team.

Since October 2015 she can be seen as Commissioner Annabell Lorenz in the ZDF crime series Der Alte, which has been running since 1977 . She is the first woman to investigate at the old man's side.

From January 2017 she hosted the program Riverboat on MDR together with Jörg Pilawa , alternating with Kim Fisher and Susan Link . In 2019, both teams were replaced and replaced by the permanent moderator duo Jörg Kachelmann and Kim Fisher.

In May 2017, Stumph first appeared as a composer and songwriter. She wrote for Helene Fischer the song Herzbeben for album Helene Fischer . It also became the first single and reached chart positions in all DA-CH countries. In Germany they even achieved a top 10 success .

Since 2019, as the successor to Kim Fisher, she has moderated the music and talk show Privatkonzert , a co-production of Deutsche Welle and Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, together with Wigald Boning . She also moderates the English version of the program, which is shown under the title Night Grooves on Deutsche Welle.
