Susanne Burkhard (* 1969 in Heidelberg ) is a German actress and dancer .

biography

Susanne Burkhard was born in Heidelberg in 1969. From 1988 to 1991 she studied dance at the Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama in Hamburg . Burkhard then made his first experiences and projects as an actress, among others in Dea Loher's Olga's room at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater in Hamburg.

From 1993 to 1998 she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Schloßtheater Celle . There she worked with Erik Gedeon and Simone Sterr, among others . Notable roles during this period were Ophelia in William Shakespeare's Hamlet , Antigone in Jean Anouilh's Antigone and Leonore d'Este in Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Torquato Tasso . Afterwards she took part in the cathedral festival in Bad Gandersheim .

From 1999 to 2004 Burkhard was engaged at the Darmstadt State Theater . There she worked with Bernarda Horres in Das Mädchen in Bernard-Marie Koltès Roberto Zucco , Lulu in Frank Wedekinds Lulu , with Jan Langenheim Miss Angela D. in M. Ondaatjes The Collected Works of Billy the Kid and Dusan D. , Parizek Marianne in Ödön von Horváth's stories from the Vienna Woods .

In 2005 she started working with Heike Scharpff. With her she won the 2006 Theaterzwang festival in Dortmund with passionate_hannah arendt . During this time she also worked as a freelancer in Mexico City , at the Mousonturm in Frankfurt , in the Wagenhalle in Marburg and at the Theater im Pumpenhaus in Münster .

Since the 2006/2007 season she has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Oberhausen . Her first productions owned The Good Person of Szechwan by Bertolt Brecht .

Susanne Burkhard lives in Oberhausen.
