Susanne Meyer
Susanne Meyer (* 1977 in Bonn ) is a German actress .
Life
Susanne Meyer studied acting at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg from 1999 to 2003 .
First engagements followed from 2003 at the Trier Theater ( Bash - pieces of the last few days ), at the Reithalle Munich ( The Persians ) and the Berlin off-theater Ballhaus Ost ( The night shortly before the woods ). In 2009 she was a guest at the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel , directed by Andreas Wiedermann, in Cleaned by Sarah Kane . In 2010 she played the role of Maria Stuart at the Koblenz Theater in the world premiere of WerMachtMaria .
Since 2006 she has worked with Israeli artist and choreographer Keren Cytter , whom she has cast in some of her art films, including Nightmare , Les Ruissellements du Diable and Cross.Flowers.Rolex , a short film trilogy that won the 2009 National Gallery for Young Art was nominated. She was also a member of the dance and performance company DIE NOW founded by Cytter and played on their international tour at the Tate Modern in London , Tramway Glasgow and The Kitchen in New York.
In 2011 she took on the leading role alongside Fabian Stumm in Cytter's two-person play Show Real Drama , which had its world premiere in Frankfurt am Main and has since been seen in Berlin, Norway, Asia and the USA.
In addition, Meyer has been an ensemble member of the artist and performance collective No Fourth Wall since 2009 .
Since 2012 she has been a guest actress at Theater Willy Praml in Frankfurt am Main and was seen in Willy Praml's Jedermann production as well as in the world premiere of Marx.Engels.Hennes & Mauritz (director: Willy Praml ).
She has been part of the ensemble of the Berliner Kriminal Theater since 2014 .
In 2015 she made her cinema debut alongside Hanno Koffler in Mia Meyer's drama stairs upwards , which celebrated its premiere at the 2016 Hofer Film Festival.
