Susanne Nice

Susanne Nett, born Völker (born July 17, 1974 in Mainz ) from the Rheinhessen wine-growing region , became the 50th German Wine Queen on October 1, 1998 in the Rotkäppchen Sektkellerei in Freyburg (Unstrut) as the successor to Natascha Thoma from the Baden wine-growing region (1998/99 ) chosen. Michaela Heusinger from Franconia and Catharina Ries from the Rheingau stood by her side as wine princesses during her twelve-month tenure .

Susanne Völker, who comes from Oppenheim , was the sixth German wine queen from the Rheinhessen wine-growing region . Simone Renth , her successor as the German Wine Queen, also comes from Rheinhessen.

Life

Susanne Völker completed an apprenticeship as a hotel manager at the Atrium Hotel Mainz-Finthen from 1994 to January 1997 . She then took over the banquet management in the hotel until September 1998, during which time she passed the trainer aptitude test at the IHK Mainz . From September 1998 to February 1999 she took over the management of her parents' bar in Oppenheim.

In October 1997 she was elected Rheinhessen Wine Queen and in the following year German Wine Queen. From May 1999 to October 1999 she was employed at the German Wine Institute , then for a short time as a PR assistant in Eltville. From 1999 to 2001 she worked as a freelancer for Südwestrundfunk in Mainz as a reporter (for example the German Wine Festival ). From December 1999 to September 2000 she worked as an assistant to the management of the VDP ( Association of German Prädikatsweingüter ) in Bad Kreuznach. From September 2000 to March 2002, he worked as a government employee in the wine marketing department in the Ministry of Economics, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture . From March 2002 to April 2003 she was in charge of the “Remise” restaurant in the Alte Patrone artists' quarter in Mainz .

Since August 2003 she and her husband Daniel Nett have been self-employed in “Nice's Restaurant - Wine Bar in the A. Christmann Winery ” in Gimmeldingen , and in July 2009 they both opened their own restaurant with guest rooms in Gimmeldingen.

Since 2007 Susanne Nett has taken on advisory functions and appearances at SWR television ( Landesschau - Kochtipps, Fröhlicher Weinberg , Kochgipfel Baden-Baden with Vincent Klink , Osterkochen with Frank Buchholz ...). The following year she got her own TV program: “We in Rhineland-Palatinate - Recipe Finder "(current title: The Recipe Finder ).
