The Suzuki Bandit 650 (GSF 650) is a street motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki that was sold from late 2004 to 2016. The predecessor was the Bandit 600 . A version with fairing (GSF 650SA) and a version as a naked bike (GSF 650A) were offered. There was also a fully faired version, but it was named Suzuki GSX 650 F to differentiate itself from the Bandit. For the 2016 model year, both versions were withdrawn from the range in Germany.
Facelift
From 2004
The GSF 650 has an air-oil-cooled four-cylinder in-line engine with 656 cm³, which delivers 57 kW (78 hp). The torque is 59 Nm at 7800 min -1 and the top speed is 230 km / h (from 2004 205 km / h). The engine has four carburetors and a six-speed gearbox. Since April 2005 it has been equipped with ABS as standard .
From 2007
In the new 2007 version, a new engine is used in the Bandit. The unit now has an output of 63 kW (85 PS) and brings almost 62 Nm to the road. The engine is no longer equipped with a carburetor, but has a gasoline injection system with a double throttle valve system. Furthermore, air cooling had to give way to water cooling.
From 2009 on
The next generation of the 650 Bandit has been available since the 2009 season. It presents itself in the new design, the rear and front have been heavily revised and in the cockpit you can now find a storage compartment on the left and right. In addition, a gear indicator was added to the cockpit. However, the basic features of the predecessor bandit were retained.
