Svetlana Germanowna Parchomenko ( Russian Светлана Германовна Пархо́менко , English spelling Svetlana Parkhomenko; * October 8, 1962 , as Svetlana Germanowna Tschernewa Russian Чернева ) is a former Russian tennis player .
Parchomenko won eight WTA tournaments in doubles in her tennis career, seven of them at the side of Larisa Neiland (who was then called Savchenko). In 1988 she was number 8 in world tennis in women's doubles.
Between 1981 and 1987 she played 28 games for the Soviet Fed Cup team and in 1993 also three for the Russian Fed Cup team ; Of the total of 31 games, she won 22.
After her failure in qualification (singles and doubles) in 1994 at the Wimbledon Championships Parchomenko ended her professional career.
