The Caligari Film and Television Production GmbH was founded in 1986 by Gabriele M. Walther and is an independent production company in Munich. Throughout history, cross-genre programs have been developed and produced that have won numerous awards. The portfolio ranges from cinema productions in the animation sector to entertainment formats to fiction programs and documentaries. The company has locations in Stuttgart ( Traffix Entertainment ), Cologne ( Caligari Entertainment ) and Berlin ( Synergy Film ).

Productions

The animation productions include brands such as " Captain Sharky ", " The Little Dragon Coconut ", " Rusty Knight ", " Princess Lillifee ", " The Moon Bear " and " Felix the Hare ". In the field of fictional formats, Caligari Film produced the sitcom “ Hausmeister Krause ” or the end-time thriller “ Hell ”, which received six nominations for the German Film Prize (2012). Caligari Film has already produced the 4th season for The Pet Check , the documentary “ Kanalschwimmer ” received the German Television Prize and the Baden-Württemberg Documentary Film Prize (2005).
