TAB the Band is a hard rock - band from Duxbury , Massachusetts . The band belongs together with The Answer , Silvertide , Jet , Doomfoxx u. a. to the representatives of the so-called "New Golden Generation" of rock music, which has continued this style of music since the beginning of the 21st century, unaffected by the effects of grunge hype. Inspired by The Beatles , The Rolling Stones , Led Zeppelin , Free , The Yardbirds , The Who and Jimi Hendrix , TAB the Band play hard rock in the tradition of the 1960s and early 1970s. Two-part singing roles are part of the band's trademark.
Band history
TAB the Band was founded by chance in 2006. When Tony Perry, who was living on the west coast of the United States at the time, visited his brother Adrian on the east coast in the summer, the two initially spent their time producing techno pieces and rap songs that they recorded for their friends . When Tony invited his friend Ben Tileston to the sessions, the musical direction changed suddenly and the sound of TAB the Band was born. The name of the group is made up of the first letters of the first names of the group members. In order not to be confused with the TAB soft drink from Coca-Cola , "the Band" has been added. As a trio, TAB the Band produced the first EPs and the two long players Pulling Out Just Enough to Win and Long Weekend . Rhythm guitarist Lou Jannetty has been completing the formation since 2009.
From 2007 onwards, the band toured the USA and Great Britain with well-known main acts such as Dinosaur Jr. , the Stone Temple Pilots and Scott Weiland . In 2010 TAB the Band opened in London for the group Aerosmith , in which the father of Tony and Adrian Perry, rock legend Joe Perry, plays the guitar. Also in 2010, the rock musician and radio host has named Little Steven publishing Run Away from Dead Boots the coolest song in the world . 2011, the band was heading in the High Hopes of Classic Rock Magazine as the future of rock music described.
Others
Singer and bassist Adrian Perry currently reconciles a professional musician career with his profession as a lawyer in New York City .
