After the 2011/12 season, the TSV men's team rose with 18 wins from 18 games from the Oberliga Bayern to the Regionalliga Süd, from which, with 17 wins and one draw, they were promoted directly to the 2nd Bundesliga South. Bad Königshofen took third place there and in 2014/15 in the all-German 2nd Bundesliga place sixth. In 2015/16, TSV started the season with four defeats and two draws from the first six games and finished the first half of the season in eighth of ten places. After that, however, no more games were lost, and on the last day of the match Bad Königshofen became champions of the 2nd Bundesliga with a victory over direct competitor TTC indeland Jülich , but did not go on promotion. In 2017, with an average of over 400 spectators - the third most across leagues behind Borussia Düsseldorf and the TTC RhönSprudel Fulda-Maberzell - they once again reached first place and this time exercised their right of promotion.

The first victory in the top division came on the 5th matchday against the TTC drawbridge Grenzau . With five wins, the club finished ninth in the end - in between it was also in 7th place - and, only surpassed by Borussia Düsseldorf, had an average attendance of 723, which was more than 10 percent of Bad Königshofen population. Jorgic left the club after the season and was replaced by Bence Majoros. Although he played less successfully than his predecessor - Bastian Steger came for him after the season - Ort and Oikawa were able to improve significantly (from 3:11 to 10: 9 and from 9:17 to 18: 9), so Bad Königshofen Reached eighth of eleven places in 2019. In 2020, the team finished 9th out of 12 - Ort had only been able to complete ten missions due to an injury - followed by the French Abdel-Kader Salifou for Oikawa .

In the 1980s, a women's team was also active in the upper leagues. In 1982 he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga South. Here the team had to relegate again at the end of the 1982/83 season. A year later, the rise succeeded. This time you could keep the class for two years, at the end of the 1985/86 season, the last place forced relegation again.
