Church in Tarmow

In 1835 the parish inaugurated a new village church, the construction plans of which go back to Schinkel's normal church . The construction management was in the hands of Friedrich Wilhelm Eduard Jacobi. In these years (1840) Tarmow had about 200 inhabitants, two brickworks and a windmill . The peat excavation carried out in the Rhinluch brought workers from other German areas here, which doubled the number of residents in a short time. The new residential buildings were mainly built along the road from Fehrbellin to Hakenberg.

For the years 1933 and 1939, 390 and 370 inhabitants, respectively, are documented in Tarmow.

When the A 24 from Berlin to Hamburg was being built in the 1970s, the construction companies got sand for the route from the Luch area. When the sand pits filled with groundwater, the Tarmower bathing lake was created .

After the fall of the Wall in 1992, the Ländchen Bellin industrial park developed near the town of Tarmow , and streets and paths in Tarmow could also be renewed. The place also received new street lighting and a sewage system for sewage. Finally, in 2004, a new community and fire station was put into operation.

In 1993, the Fehrbellin water and soil association building yard was established in Tarmow. On October 26, 2003, Tarmow was incorporated into the Fehrbellin community by law.
