Tatopani ( Nepali तातोपानी ) is a village and a Village Development Committee (VDC) in Nepal in the Sindhupalchok district .
The VDC Tatopani is located in the Himalayas in the north of Sindhupalchok on the border with Tibet . The Araniko Rajmarg highway leads along the Sunkoshi (also Bhotekoshi ) through the area and ends at Kodari at the bridge of the Sino-Nepalese friendship .

At the 2011 census, the VDC Tatopani had 6,774 inhabitants (3,512 of whom were male) in 1,733 households.
