The legal advisor Sebastian Feuerbach of the IT company Conpact is killed in an accident with a self-driving car. At first everything looks like a suicide, but Stellbrink quickly learns that the computers of the company, which specializes in collecting data, have been hacked and that the missing data concerns the autonomous car.
The hacker Natascha had carried out the task of detecting security gaps in the self-driving car, but she did not delete the company's data from the server. Their friend Marco Fichte, who is jealous of the other men, was also questioned by the inspector. But that person can prove the real killer with a recording on a stick: It was company boss Rousseau. He tried to silence his former friend Feuerbach, who wanted to testify about the dangers of hacking and thus endanger the multi-million dollar business.
