Nanhoï Nikolai Kinski (born July 30, 1976 in Paris ) is an actor with French and US citizenship who lives in Berlin . Until his late naturalization in the USA , he carried his father's maiden name, Nakszynski. His parents are the Vietnamese model Minhoï Geneviève Loanic and the German actor Klaus Kinski , his half-sisters are Nastassja Kinski and Pola Kinski .

Live and act

Nikolai Kinski's mother is a French model of Vietnamese origin. His parents met in Rome in 1969 . After moving to Paris, they married in 1971, where Nikolai was born. In 1979 his parents divorced. Mother and son first traveled around the world and in 1981 they settled with their mother's new partner in Lagunitas-Forest Knolls , California. Shortly afterwards, Klaus Kinski also moved there so that he could be near his son.

At the age of eleven, Nikolai came into contact with acting when he was the son of his father and his then partner Debora Caprioglio in Klaus Kinski's last film Kinski Paganini . In 1994 Nikolai moved to Los Angeles to study acting at UCLA . He graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor in Acting . In 2000 he started working in New York theater and made his debut in the role of Nosferatu .

In autumn 2001 Nikolai Kinski made his first trip to his father's home in Germany. Two years later he moved to Berlin and learned German . In the following years he worked in German television productions and in international films .

In 2006, Nikolai Kinski performed some of Klaus Kinski's poems publicly for the first time at the Frankfurt Book Fair . With the text composition Kinski speaks Kinski: Fever - Diary of a leper he returned to the stage. In 2009 Nikolai Kinski was seen in the role of Arndt von Bohlen and Halbach in the three-part television series Krupp - A German Family .
