Mordkommando is an Austrian television thriller by and with Fritz Eckhardt from 1982, directed by Jochen Bauer . It was created as the 142nd episode of the crime series Tatort and was the twelfth crime scene case for Marek. This time Marek is dealing with the kidnapping plans of a terrorist group and the murder of an undercover agent.

action

A man named Klaus Mayrhofer is murdered in front of Marek's office late in the evening while Marek is still working. At his funeral, District Inspector Wirz speaks to Leopold Gallasch, whom he knows from previous investigations, and takes him to the station. Marek learns at the funeral of Dr. Wagel that Mayrhofer was a state police officer, the state police had knowledge of a terrorist group and smuggled the dead there. Apparently he was recognized as a police officer within the organization and therefore had to die. He had sewn a message into his suit with three names of large industrialists who were obviously considered terrorist targets. Marek gets an order from the state police to protect these industrialists. Gallasch told Wirz that he only happened to be at the funeral. Wirz sent him away because he couldn't prove anything and didn't believe that he had anything to do with Mayrhofer's death. Gallasch is approached by Rada on a Danube ship, an accomplice of his client Ivanitsch, who disciplines him because he was caught by Wirz at the funeral. She threatens to have him eliminated if he makes another mistake or jumps off.

Marek and his people go to the three big industrialists, none of the three are particularly impressed by the apparent threat of terrorism. Ivanitsch visits Rada in Prague, where she works for the secret service. Ivanitsch reports to her that Gallasch has become a problem and is carrying out extortion on his own account, Rada instructs Ivanitsch to remove Gallasch. She promises him a new identity, but refuses his request to be able to officially defer. Hella Reschke, the secretary of Director Jochmann, one of the three possible terrorist victims, calls the management anonymously and tells Berntner and Wirz that she is a dropout from the group and tells the date and time, but not the location of the attack former group called "October" ahead. However, Marek does not take the hint seriously and meets with his informant Molitor in the sauna. Molitor tells Marek von Gallasch that he contacted the three businessmen and demanded 100,000 schillings from each because they were supposed to be killed by terrorists. After handing over the money, he would have given them information about the terrorists. In truth, however, there is no terrorist group, Gallasch is only active in the espionage business. Marek informs Dr. Wagel from the state police, but the name Gallasch means nothing to him. Dr. However, Wagel does not believe in Molitor's thesis that there is no such thing as a terrorist group.

Director Jochmann confirms to Inspector Berntner the blackmail and alleged murder plans against him and decides to go to safety abroad. Wirz meets with General Manager Zeller and speaks to her about the extortion, who admits that the blackmailer called her and told her about a planned kidnapping. However, she is not afraid and therefore did not get involved in blackmail. Ivanitsch seeks out Gallasch and speaks to him about the blackmail. He denies the blackmail, but gives himself away, Ivanitsch then kills Gallasch. At this moment Marek rings the doorbell, Ivanitsch pretends to be Gallasch. Marek speaks to Ivanitsch about Gallasch's extortion and wants to take Ivanitsch with him to the police station as Gallasch, which Ivanitsch refuses. Ivanitsch claims that when Gallasch only wanted to warn the businessmen, Marek refrained from a house search. Director Rück, the third of the potential terrorist victims, tells his daughter Edda that he is being threatened. Her friend then said something about kidnappings, although Rück hadn't mentioned it. Rück wants to send his daughter away from Vienna for a while, but she refuses. Marek picks up on the anonymous call, since Zeller and Jochmann will not be in Vienna on the day of the planned attack, Marek concentrates on Rück. Marek learns from Wirz that Gallasch was shot in his apartment. Based on a photo, Marek realizes that he was not facing Gallasch, but the murderer. Shortly afterwards, they receive another anonymous call from Hella Reschke, who renews the warning.

At the time in question, four armed young men storm the property of Villa Rück, the police are on hand with a large contingent and shoot one of the attackers, the others surrender. The dead person is his daughter's friend. Marek is suspicious that the thwarted attack did not fit the plans suspected by the state police in advance. He and his team return to the villa once more, and the officers can actually thwart a second attack, this time by a group led by Hella Reschke, and arrest those involved. The first attack was just a diversionary maneuver. Marek realizes that Edda Rück must have opened the door for the terrorists. Edda admits that she was part of the group and aided. Florian Ivanitsch was arrested at the airport.
