The Tauge is a river in France that runs in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . It rises near the hamlet of the same name, La Tauge , in the northern municipality of Monclar-de-Quercy , generally drains to the northwest and flows into the Aveyron as a left tributary after about 20 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Lamothe-Capdeville and Montauban . In the estuary section, the Tauge passes under the A20 motorway .
