The Teichl is a right tributary of the Steyr in southern Upper Austria , in the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen region .

course
The Teichl rises on the Wurzeralm in the Warscheneck area and disappears in the so-called Teichl shrinkage in the limestone, in the valley it reappears at the Teichl origin and flows into the Steyr at the Steyrbrücke .
The Teichl is considered to be one of the best salmonid waters in Austria and is popular as an easy route with white water paddlers .

The Teichl has found its way into the coat of arms of St. Pankraz. The blue, silver bordered, obliquely left wavy bar indicates the Teichl crossing the municipality from southeast to northwest.
