The Tel Aviv District ( Hebrew מחוז תל אביב Mechoz Tel Aviv ) is one of the six districts in the State of Israel . It is 172 square kilometers and has 1,388,400 inhabitants. The Tel Aviv district has no other subdistricts; the largest city in the district is Tel Aviv.
