The Tescou is a river in France that runs in the Occitania region . It rises on the municipal boundary of Gaillac and Castelnau-de-Montmiral , generally drains in a westerly direction and flows 49 kilometers into the urban area of Montauban as a right tributary into the Tarn . On its way, the Tescou crosses the Tarn and Tarn-et-Garonne departments . For a short stretch it also forms the border with the neighboring Haute-Garonne department .

The Sivens dam project started in 2014 is stagnating (2019).
