Tetbury is a small town and civil parish in the District Cotswold in the county of Gloucestershire , England. It is 10.53 square kilometers and had 5250 inhabitants at the 2001 census.

history

Tetbury is located on the site of an ancient hill fort , which already at the time of the Anglo-Saxons , probably 681 by King Ine of Wesses had been replaced by a convent.
