Textima AG was founded in 1990 as the successor to the combine . The sub-operations were gradually privatized or closed individually. Textima AG was advised by the Austrian entrepreneur Ingrid Moser . In 1996 Textima AG was liquidated. Today's owner of the name and trademark rights to the trademark "TEXTIMA" is Textima Import Export GmbH , based in Berlin.

The Textima Kombinat also produced devices for other manufacturers, so Acosta was able to gain a foothold in the field of irons, and had Textima produce an ironing machine under the name Acosta Version .
