The Electric Diorama is an Italian rock band from Rome .
history
The group already played with 30 Seconds to Mars , Fall Out Boy , Panic! at the Disco and My Chemical Romance . The Electric Diorama was founded by Helio Di Nardo and Francesco Catitti. The sound of the group is strongly reminiscent of the poppy post-hardcore or alternative rock bands from the USA .
In October 2007 the group released their first album via Nerdsound Records and Ammonia Records in Italy. It's called Lifemales. Her Lifemale Tour started in December 2007, which lasted 3 months and led through Italy and Austria . Between April and June, The Electric Diorama toured 14 cities in Italy as part of the Silverstar Tour . The band played at several summer festivals with Kill Hannah , Funeral for a Friend , Comeback Kid , Bring Me the Horizon , Mad Caddies , Caliban and Vanilla Sky .
In March 2009, Lifemales was released in Japan (In'n'Out Records) and in the USA (Oceanside Records). The Electric Diorama also played at SXSW 2009 in Austin , Texas . A tour of Great Britain and Austria followed in the summer . From October 2009 the band was in the studio and worked on the follow-up album by Lifemales . In the meantime, individual concerts followed in Russia and Ukraine . The group was already on Italian television, so the group gave an interview on MTV and played acoustics there. This was later followed by an appearance at TRL in Catania . Her song Oh Dear, Now I'm Sure, I Hate You was included in the sampler of the Italian version of the rock sound . In October the group headlined Yes! Weekend Tour accompanied by Adam Kills Eve and My Last Fall .
The new album Rollin ', Rockin', Super, Sonic! was produced by Francesco Catitti. The recording producer was Andrew Wade from Ocala , who has worked with A Day to Remember and Versaemerge . For the first single, Mr. Fantastic , the group worked with Tim Palmer , who worked with Pearl Jam , Blue October , HIM , U2 and Goo Goo Dolls in Los Angeles . From February 12 to February 23, 2013 the band will tour Russia and Ukraine in eleven concerts . The name of the tour is "Rocket to Russia Tour - Return of the Babushka".
