Adam Kills Eve is a post-hardcore / metalcore band founded in Florence in 2006 .
history
Beginnings
Adam Kills Eve was founded in Florence in 2006 and shortly after the founding began recording their EP SeaSons , which was released in 2007. They started giving concerts in Tuscany . First concerts in other regions of Italy followed .
After the group had given several concerts in Italy, the group withdrew in the second half of 2008 to the Bro Studios in Turin , where work on their second EP began. The EP was released in 2009 under the title They Almost Killed Us with Their Hypocrisy on the Italian label Sober Society . The EP was officially released on the Sober Society Tour , which the group did together with Upon This Dawning .
After the group had left several line-up changes behind them, the group played on September 4, 2011 for the first time at a national festival, the I-Day Festival in Bologna . On October 22, 2011 Adam Kills Eve played together with Tasters in Legnano .
The debut album: The Interruption System
Adam Kills Eve took part in the Rock am Ring band contest, where the group landed on the 270th place in the first round and was eliminated. A total of 393 bands took part.
The group worked on their debut album in 2012, titled The Interruption System , which was originally due to be released in 2012. The album should be a concept album. In an interview with Freak Promotions it is said that this album is produced by Helio di Nardo, who worked with The Electric Diorama . It differs from the two previously released EPs in that a pre-production took place. On July 27, 2012 the first track of the album was put online as a lyric video. That song is called Maybe in Space . The video was produced by Tommy Antonini, guitarist for the band Tasters .
On October 14, 2012, Adam played Kills Eve with Hope's Die Last in Conegliano . On January 3, 2013, the group immediately announced several news. The debut album, The Interruption System , is ready for release. In addition, a new single will be released as a lyric video in the next few days and an Italy tour will take place. It was also announced that Andrea Bugiani had left the group and was replaced by Francesco Agozzino as guitarist. The single Ms. Destruction was released on January 18, 2013. One day later, the debut album The Interruption System was released on CD and download from iTunes and Amazon . In the meantime, the compilation We Are Louder Than You has been released via the newly founded subsidiary label of Redfield Records , Redfield Digital. The group is represented on this compilation with the title Paralysis 2.0 from the debut album. Also Seven Tribe , My Autumn and Scream Your Name listening to this publication. The entire proceeds were donated to the Hardcore Help Foundation . On April 13, 2013, the group plays as the main support for Awaken Demons .
The group signed a record contract with the label in 2012 founded Go With Me Records from Japan . There bands such as Her Bright Skies , Fail Emotions , One Morning Left and Hills Have Eyes are signed for the Japanese market. The album has been available in Japan since August 21, 2013. It received criticism from the Japanese edition, the Alternative Press . On November 21, the group played as the opening act for The Color Morale and Chiodos as part of the “Road to the Warped Tour UK” tour in Calenzano .
Of time
In October 2016 the band released their third EP, Of Time . A tour of several cities in Italy followed. The band will perform in the UK for the first time between January 24th and 29th, 2017 .
Adam Kills Eve currently consists of Federico Bini ( vocals ), Giovanni Macca (vocals, guitar ), Oscar Gigli ( drums ), Francesco Agozzino (guitar) and Alessandro Gavazzi ( bass ).
style
The group plays a post-hardcore- like sound mixed with the elements of metalcore . In some songs influences from electronic music , such as trance, can also be heard.
