Ringrocker Warm Up Party
The ringrocker Warm Up Party is a warm-up event for the Rock am Ring music festival and always takes place one evening before the actual main festival at the Nürburgring . It is organized by ring rockers true to the motto: "From fans for fans!"
history
Since ringrocker.com was founded in 2001, users have met every year on the evening before the official start of Rock am Ring for the so-called “www meeting”.
In 2006 they celebrated with a live band for the first time, in which some of the operators of the ringrocker.com community decided to implement this even better. The unofficial free pre-party at the Nürburgring started in 2007 in cooperation with Camping am Nürburgring. A big advantage of the event area is that visitors without a Rock am Ring ticket can also take part in the event via the Camping facility at the Nürburgring . In 2008, for reasons of capacity, the event moved to the official party tent, operated by Gastro Team Bremen , at the new main entrance. There played Sondaschule . In the following year the decision was made to switch back to the newly designed event area (with a larger event area) due to technical implementation difficulties with the tent rental. Mambo Kurt made sure that the event “returned home” successfully.
In 2010, due to the 25th anniversary and the 4th day of the festival on the Ring, the party started on Wednesdays. On Thursday, after the official headliner, there was an aftershow party with Itchy Poopzkid for the somewhat younger ring audience. A special highlight of this evening was the party announcement from the front man of the H-Blockx , who were allowed to open Rock am Ring that evening . In 2011 the band Monsters of Liedermaching played for the tenth anniversary of the community and the 5th anniversary of the Warm Up . In 2012 the bassist of the Bloodhound Gang "Evil" Jared Hasselhoff was guest of honor.
Ringrocker.com has been cooperating with SWR3 and DasDing since 2010. The media partners report from the party and broadcast concert recordings and interviews on the Ringradio and the TV station Einsplus. The Visions magazine not only supports the warm-up in “Print & Web”, but also live with its “Vision Party”.

- Due to the 10th anniversary of ringrocker.com, the program was spread over 2 days.
- SWR3 and dasding reported live on their ring radio and on Einsplus with live recordings and interviews of the event.
May 30 & 31, 2012
A total of 5 acts on 2 evenings: Evil Jared Hasselhoff , Russkaja , Eskimo Callboy , Das Pack and the Visions DJ Team
- On the first evening the "Evil" Jared Hasselhoff from the Bloodhound Gang hung up at a late hour. You could see a report afterwards on dasding / SWR3 / EinsPlus.
- On Thursday there was a 4-minute live stream of the ringrocker on SWR directly on TV.
