history

The founding members previously played in several friendly bands ( Crash My DeVille , Enter The Phoenix) and / or knew each other from their school days. In 2003 they started as a joint rehearsal room project under the name His Statue Falls, at that time with a different lineup. After a first demo recording with two songs was released in 2007 , the band only started playing their first live shows in 2008. A little later there was a line-up change, which resulted in the current lineup.

In 2009, His Statue Falls played four appearances as the opening act for Enter Shikari in Germany , Luxembourg , Belgium and the Netherlands . The opportunity to perform with Enter Shikari was achieved with a message sent on Myspace . On February 26, 2010 they released their debut album Collisons, produced by bassist Christian Diehl , via Redfield Records . In Japan , the album is distributed by Radtone Music and was released on June 2, 2010. On December 24, 2010, the album Collisions Remixed was released and made available for free download. It contains eight remixes of songs from her debut album.

The album is expected to be released in early 2012 via Redfield Records. The release date of Mistaken for Trophies was set for April 20, 2012, and the video for the album's first single, Breathe In Breathe Out , was released on February 7, 2012 on the band's official YouTube channel . Chuong Trinh from Hordak is guest singer in this song . The album was released on CD on April 20, 2012 and entered Media Control's German newcomer charts at number 19 . The album was released on May 9, 2012 via Radtone Music in Japan .

On February 18, 2012, the band announced that their drummer Maximilian Schütz was leaving the band for professional and family reasons. Since May 22, 2012 the new drummer Markus Pesch has been firmly integrated into the band. On July 6, 2012, His Statue Falls played the first concert in Japan . This took place in Osaka as part of the Geki Rock Tour. Two more concerts followed in Nagoya and Tokyo . From July 10th to July 15th, 2012 the group had concerts in the People's Republic of China in Shanghai , Shenzhen , Guangzhou , Wuhan , Nanking and Beijing .

On August 25, 2012, the band announced on their Facebook page that they were separating from their previous singer and shouter Alex Sauer due to personal differences. On May 3, 2013 Jan Vergin was introduced by Cocoon as the new front singer at His Statue Falls. In October the group toured Germany and Austria again. The label colleagues Eye Sea I from Estonia were there as support. The EP I Am the Architect was released on October 18, 2013 via Redfield Records. On December 9, 2013, it was announced that the group would play at With Full Force in 2014 . The third studio album, Polar , was released on March 4, 2016 .
