The Unbelievers is a documentary that follows scientists Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss as they speak publicly around the world about the importance of science and reason in the modern world. Dawkins and Krauss are themselves authors of bestsellers on science and atheism. The film includes interviews with well-known atheists such as Stephen Hawking , Ayaan Hirsi Ali , Sam Harris , David Silverman and others. The Unbelievers premiered on April 29, 2013 in Toronto at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival , and all four screenings of the film were sold out.
The first broadcast in German-speaking countries was on December 26, 2013 in Zurich. How the film will be distributed is still unclear.
