The Theater in der Filmdose is a private theater in Cologne . It is located in the Filmdose restaurant in the university district .
history
In 1975, the director Walter Bockmayer opened the Filmdose restaurant on Zülpicher Strasse at the corner of Kyffhäuser Strasse , where he had his productions performed on a stage. In 1984 the "Theater in the Filmdose" was founded. The actors included Ralph Morgenstern , Dada Stievermann , Hella von Sinnen and Dirk Bach . The restaurant was taken over and continued by ensemble member Alexander Moll.
