Eiffel Tower (Cologne)

The Eifelturm (also Eifelturm Theater ) was a Cologne cabaret . It was founded in 1986 and existed until 2007. Cabaret, comedy and cabaret performances took place there. The theater was operated as a non-profit association and was considered one of the most successful cabaret stages in Cologne.

Among others, Moritz Netenjakob , the 2006 Grimme Prize winner, and Mathias Tretter , who was awarded a prize at the Berlin cabaret festival Die Wühlmäuse , performed in the Eifelturm. In 2007, the actor Matthias Rödder was represented with a solo program . Robert Griess also showed his program Is it still possible? . Gerd Buurmann's action art against cash had its premiere on January 1st, 2007 in the Eiffel Tower. In 2007 Michael Ehnert performed in the Eifelturm as part of the 17th Cologne Comedy Festival . From November 2005, WDR 5 recorded several radio programs, including those with Peter Zudeick and Wilfried Schmickler , in the Eiffel Tower. In November 2007, recordings of programs with Jürgen von der Lippe , Ralph Morgenstern , Bernd Stelter and others followed.
