Theobald Schweinpeck († September 1, 1462 ) was Bishop of Lavant .

Theobald Schweinpeck came from a Styrian family. His father was court marshal Duke Ernst the Iron . In 1431 he became canon and in 1437 hospital master in Salzburg. On November 24th 1446 he was appointed Bishop of Lavant by the Salzburg Archbishop Friedrich IV Truchsess von Emmerberg . His successor Sigismund I von Volkersdorf allowed him to retain his Salzburg cathedral canonical and transferred the archbishop's court of Stitzing to him as his residence.

In 1456 Bishop Theobald took part in the Salzburg Provincial Synod and complained about various encroachments on the rights and freedoms of his diocese. Theobald Schweinpeck cultivated good relations with the Viennese court and Emperor Friedrich III. confirmed his right to bear the title of "Prince Bishop". In 1461 he was a witness when the emperor established the diocese of Laibach .
